9th Fredericksburg Fall Foliage Frolic (FFFF) Ride

About the Tour:

The Fredericksburg Fall Foliage Frolic is hosted by the Hill Country Bicycle Touring Club. The tour brings people from all over Texas to enjoy a weekend of riding and friendship in the scenic Hill Country of Central Texas. There are supported rides varying in length and degree of difficulty available each day.

Fredericksburg was founded by German settlers in the 1850's and is full of history. Be sure to check out the Admiral Nimitz Museum in town or drive up to Enchanted rock and hike up the second largest rock in the US. Don't forget to visit the many little shops and try some of the great restaurants and bakeries in town.
For more details, look at the HCBTC Frolic 2008 Foldout Flyer (PDF format).

SAG Support and Safety:
Because we care about your safety, all riders must wear ANSI, Snell or ASTM certified bicycle helmets and obey traffic laws. Please choose routes within your capabilities and be prepared to make minor repairs. Roving support with snacks and fluids will be available on Saturday only.

We cannot anticipate every road surface hazard or construction project you will encounter on this tour. You, the rider, are ultimately responsible for your own safety during your ride!! Use common sense and caution at all times.
About the Hill Country Bicycle Touring Club:

In addition to making friends and riding with others of similar ability, members receive a monthly newsletter, Touring Notes, and a 10 percent discount on parts and accessories at participating bicycle shops.
